IMPORTANT: QUANTUM GROUP INC. recommends that all carbon monoxide alarms should be replaced with new CO alarms after six years of operation.
Recreational Vehicle CO Alarms
COSTAR® Models 9RV, 12RV-DB
Both alarms are certified to Underwriters Laboratories standard 2034, as well as the Canadian Standards Association 6.19-01. Each alarm carries a limited 6-year warranty from date of manufacture. The alarms have been tested from -40° to 151 ° F, relative humidity (RH) range from 10 to 95% RH.
COSTAR® Model 9RV is powered with a 9-volt battery.
COSTAR® Model 12RV-DB Battery is designed to be hardwired to separate 12-volt power supplies such as the coach battery and the engine battery. It also has a 9-volt battery that provides power if the 12-volt power supply is shut off and provides for protection 24/7.
COSTAR® 12RV-DB Battery Installation/Replacement.
Disconnect 12-volt power to alarm before installing/replacing 9-volt battery.
Then install/replace battery and reconnect alarm 12-volt power. If the 12-volt power is not disconnected prior to battery replacement, the alarm will beep every thirty seconds for ten minutes before resuming normal operation.

Residential and Security CO Alarms and Detectors
COSTAR® Models 9SIR (now replaced by Model 9RV) , 12-24SIR

COSTAR® Model 12-24SIR is designed to be connected to security and fire systems operating at either 12 or 24 volts. These systems include a central panel.

COSTAR® Model 24VC requires 24 VAC supply voltage. Each alarm carries a limited 5-year warranty from date of manufacture. Its sensor (a replaceable module) has a lifetime of 2.5 years. Operating temperature range is from 41° to 125 ° F, relative humidity (RH) range from 10 to 95% RH.

COSTAR® Model P-1
COSTAR® Model P-1 is designed specifically for personal or automotive use. Each alarm carries a limited 5-year warranty from date of manufacture. Operating temperature range is from -40° to 151 ° F, relative humidity (RH) range from 15 to 95% RH.
Quantum Eye®
The Quantum Eye® is a multi-level Carbon Monoxide Detector. It provides a visual indication of carbon monoxide contamination. Each detector is packaged in a protective bag that when opened activates the product. Once activated the maximum product lifetime is 18 months. Operating temperature range is from 41° to 100° F, relative humidity (RH) range from 25 to 90% RH. These CO detectors have a 3 year shelf life as long as they are sealed in Quantum’s factory.
